Ahh, the time is almost upon us for CLUS and I know I have been a been quiet lately, more on that in another post though. This Cisco Live will be my 15th consecutive Cisco Live that I have attended – my first being Las Vegas in 2005.

This year we are heading back to San Diego, CA Conference Center near the historic heart of San Diego – the Gaslamp Quarter. The last time the conference was in San Diego was 2015, not that long ago but feels like an eternity! The Gaslamp Quarter has some amazing food and bar joints, it will make for some memoralbe times for sure!

So it is time to cover some of the things that I am aware of for Cisco Live this year. Returning this year are the Big Idea Talk Speakers, Tweetups, DevNet, Walk-in Labs, Certification Testing, and the CAE to just name a few.

In this post I will chat about the Big Idea Talks. These are talks giving by a diverse group of speakers who bring to light topics of interesting. This year we will have four speakers, with the three below being officially announced as of today (5-April-2019). I have included some information on the speakers as well as associated videos below.

On Monday (10-June-2019) Janet Stovall will be speaking on How to get serious about diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
