$9$ reversible format only
JunOS uses a custom reversible cipher for $9$ passwords. These appear in JunOS configurations like:
set system root-authentication encrypted-password “$9$JDUjkmfz39pGDtO1EKvUDikqfz39Ct0GD9p0BSy”
Note: $1$ (MD5), $6$ (SHA-512), and $8$ (SHA-256) passwords are one-way hashes and cannot be decrypted.
